New look and new jobs for Gibson Training & Care

Fife-based Gibson Training & Care, a leading care provider and training centre for the nursing and care profession, has unveiled a bright, new corporate identity and revealed plans to extend their workforce throughout Fife.

Nikki Lindsay, a manager with Gibson Training & Care, commented: “We wanted a much warmer, fresher brand to reflect more accurately the type of kind, caring and reliable service that is already provided by our carers. It’s been developed by a Fife designer and we’re really pleased with it. The next step will be to apply our new branding to all our materials over the next few months, including a new website that will be coming soon“.

Meanwhile the firm has announced that it will be adding up to 35 new posts by the end of the year, growing its current team of 65 home carers to 100.

Nikki added: “There is increasing demand for our services, and while we have posts throughout Fife, we are particularly keen to recruit care staff in the North-East of Fife (Balmullo and St. Andrews) and the West of Fife (Dunfermline and surrounding villages).  Our service users are very satisfied with the standard of care delivered by our home carers, so we are eager to be able to offer the same high quality to more people throughout the area”.
 
Gibson Training & Care’s most recent Care Inspectorate inspection, which concluded in February 2016, graded the service provided as Good/Very Good. This was backed up by the firm’s most recent customer research, conducted each quarter to ensure their high service standards are maintained, in which an impressive 75% of their service users’ relatives rated the service they receive between 8 and 10 out of 10. 

Gibson Training & Care’s training arm is not standing still either.  This autumn they will be extending their range of training courses, which they offer for both professional carers and relatives. New courses will include a First Aid course.
