What is the Start Up Grant?

Non-repayable grant of up to £500

Funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund

Who’s eligible?

Individuals intending to start a business in Fife, or new businesses that have started trading in the past 6 months, who have not previously received a start-up grant from Business Gateway Fife.

Preference will be given to businesses that exhibit the potential to generate the greatest economic benefit to Fife.

What can it be used for?

Costs associated with getting the business started (e.g., stock, equipment).

How to apply?

This support is offered at the discretion of a Business Gateway Adviser. Therefore, in order to be considered, a business must be actively engaged with Business Gateway Fife.

Pre-start applicants will be required to provide a Business Plan and one year of financial projections to support their application. Applicants that are already trading will be required to provide evidence of this.
