Expansion of Workplace Asymptomatic Testing

Twice-weekly use of rapid LFD tests are an important way to detect infections in people who remain feeling well, allowing rapid isolation and contact tracing actions to minimise risk to colleagues and members of the community.

There are several options available for workplace testing.

For workplaces with 10 or fewer staff: staff may individually request kits to be delivered directly to their home for use at home. Kits can be ordered for free via the links on:

Fife Town Centre Building Improvement Grant

Fife Council is committed to supporting town centres, and small businesses and property owners can now apply for a small grant to help improve or develop their property within one of Fife’s key town centres or other local centre boundaries. 
 
Grants will be to support capital works including external shopfront improvements, internal refits and upper floor conversions.
 
Applications must be submitted before 31st March 2022, however demand is expected to be high and therefore applications should be submitted as soon as possible.

A new portal developed by Fife web consultancy Horisk Leslie Development will enable good causes and communities serving 1.3 million people across the six local authority areas of Fife, Edinburgh, the Lothians and Borders to directly make community benefit requests of support from suppliers delivering projects under the £1.3bn Edinburgh and South East Scotland (ESES) City Region Deal City Deal.

Business Gateway Fife Key Achievements for 2020/21

THE Board of Business Gateway Fife has been presented with the 20/21 figures for the delivery of its core activities in a pandemic year where businesses have faced the most challenging, testing and uncertain times.
