Fife Business Week is Bursting with Business Benefits

FIFE Business Week 2016 is set to be the best ever with a host of events taking place across Fife next week from 7 to 11 November.

The variety of sessions on offer to entrepreneurs, businesses and employers is wide-ranging with fresh insights into workforce development, finance and strategy and digital connectivity.

Adam Smith Centre, Kirkcaldy is hosting Scotland’s Towns Conference 2016 on Wednesday, 9 November.  This major event will gather around 200 professionals from across the UK and worldwide with direct influence and responsibility for policy making and strategic delivery across Scotland’s towns.

Employers can find out how food safety legislation, waste regulations and health & safety may apply to their business on Monday 7 November at Business Gateway Fife, Saltire House, Glenrothes and  a session on How to Manage Absence in the Workplace takes place at Cluny Clays, Cluny, Kirkcaldy on Tuesday 8 November.

Also on Tuesday, 8 November, ManagedIT Experts Ltd is running a session at Dunfermline Business Centre called Get More Done – top tips to make the most out of IT.  The company will show how a business can make the most of free and low-cost applications that save time and increase productivity. Along in Dalgety Bay at St David’s House, Cooper Software is running a Breakfast seminar on Tuesday 8 November on How to grow your Business highlighting by using the right IT solution for a business, it can save time, reduce costs and drive sales.

Mabbett, a leading independent environmental, management systems, health and safety consultancy and engineering firm will deliver a seminar on the Revised ISO14001:2015 Standard at Rosyth Business Centre on Thursday 10 November. If a business is  transitioning from ISO 14001:2004 to ISO 14001:2015 or considering development of an EMS to ISO 14001:2015, this seminar is a must. This informative session delivered by EMS experts will explain the key differences and new additional requirements necessary to meet the Revised ISO14001:2015 Standard.
