Deputy First Minister Commends eCom Scotland’s Internationalisation

eCom Scotland was delighted to host John Swinney, Scottish Government Deputy First Minister, today at its Dunfermline offices. The visit coincided with the publication of the Scottish Government’s Global Scotland Trade and Investment Strategy 2016-2021. The Strategy sets out new actions to attract investment, drive exports and promote Scottish interests globally, including developing Scotland into a global innovation centre.
eCom Scotland provides innovative technology solutions for workforce learning and development. They have achieved 30% year on year revenue growth for the last 3 years and doubled staff numbers through a series of product launches and expansion into new markets.  

Mr Swinney heard about eCom’s award-winning work with RNIB on accessible eLearning for blind and partially-sighted people and a digital accreditation project at a US state university. He also watched a demonstration of eNetAuthor, eCom’s new eLearning authoring tool which helps project teams to work together more effectively.
