New networking series for the health and wellness industry launches in Fife

Burntisland author who vlogs in a wetsuit to deliver vision boarding workshop this Wednesday  A new series of networking events for the health and wellness industry has launched in Fife. Holistic Scotland Connections, which takes place on the last Wednesday of every month at The Ecology Centre in Kinghorn, is being run by Holistic Scotland Magazine and is designed for anyone working in, or passionate about, health and wellness.  Topics include how to grow your business with the help of magazines, PR and social media, as well as empowerment, vision boarding and laughter therapy workshops for personal and professional development.  This Wednesday’s (31 July) session, which takes place between 6pm and 8pm, will be delivered by local author, vlogger and purchasing coach Alison Smith of Landscaping Your Life, who regularly vlogs from the Forth in a wetsuit.  Burntisland-based Alison will lead a vision boarding workshop, accompanied by zero-alcohol alt-gin tasting, followed by informal networking with some of the Holistic Scotland Magazine team.  Vision boarding – or collage – is one of the tools Alison, who is the author of Can’t See the Wood for the Trees, uses when working with purchasing and procurement teams to help them become ‘unstuck’. She said: “A vision board, which is generally a collage of images, pictures and affirmations that sum up your dreams, life goals and things that make you happy, can be a useful tool to help clarify and bring focus to a particular aspiration in life and help you achieve it. “The session promises to be great fun, with lots of inspiration to be had and new contacts to be made. This networking but not as you know it!” Tickets, which are priced £18.50, include workshop, networking, alt-gin drinks, corkboard and all the materials you need to make your own vision board.
