FIFE CHAMBER ANNUAL DINNER 2015

Fife Chamber of Commerce are delighted to announce their Annual Dinner, which takes place on Friday 11th September at the Fairmont, St Andrews.

The speakers for the evening are Alasdair Northrop, Editor of the Scottish Business Insider mgazine and Ellis Watson, Chief Executive of DC Thomson Publishing.  Alasdair has been Editor of Scottish Business Insider since 2000, prior to this he was Business Editor of the Manchester Evening News.  He has had the privilege of interviewing many of the biggest names in business as well as those who work quietly ‘below the radar'.

After dinner you will hear from Ellis Watson of DC Thomson who are one of the world's largest family owned media groups.  He was previously global CEO of Syco Entertainment, the joint venture between Simon Cowell and Sony.  Before that he was at the helm of Mirror Group Newspapers, running five national titles. Ellis' first break came as a young Marketing Director at The Sun and The News of the World, moving on to take charge of the new digital business and reporting directly to Rupert Murdoch. After ten years at News Corporation he became CEO of Celador International - licensing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? to 100 countries and overseeing 130 consumer products.

The MC for the evening is Sheriff Lindsay Wood who will entertain guests with a wealth of fascinating legal anecdotes.  He has spoken at functions for many top companies, leading football clubs, sporting organisations and various societies. Appointed to the bench in Glasgow in 2003, Sheriff Wood now deals with the wide and varied challenges of Europe's largest Court including the specialist Drug Court.
This prestigious event normally attracts around 250 of Fifes business leaders and their guests.

The evening will commence with a drinks reception at 7.00pm and conclude by around 11.30pm. Tickets may be purchased individually at £80+VAT each or in tables of 10.  Price includes a three course dinner and one half bottle of wine per person. Dress code is Black Tie.
