In a diversion away from traditional fast food, Fife businesswoman, Tracey Pedder, has created a healthy takeaway offering in her new shop called Nourish, based on the Crossgate in Cupar.

From a career in social care spanning 30 years in local government, Tracey wanted to run a business that matched her healthy and fit lifestyle.  From wraps, bagels, smoothies to soups, salads and baked potatoes, she wants to encourage people of all ages to try a healthier takeaway option.

Fife manufacturer, All Seasons Outdoor Living, maker of bespoke metal gates, railings and handrails has made a move into a new larger manufacturing unit in Lochgelly as its business continues to flourish.

Owner, John Mckenzie, has many years of experience in the metal fabrication industry across many sectors in Edinburgh and Fife. In June 2021, he along with his partner Deborah, decided to take the plunge and open their own business and All Seasons Outdoor Living was born.

Babcock Opens Applications For 250 New Jobs At Rosyth

International Defence company Babcock, has opened applications for 250 new recruits for its Production Support Operative (PSO) programme at Rosyth. This is in addition to more than 40 PSO roles that were filled at the site earlier this year. The PSO programme has a focus, but not exclusively, on attracting candidates who are not currently in education, employment, or training.

October is Menopause Awareness Month

October is Menopause Awareness month and the Workplace Team from Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is launching a local campaign to raise awareness of the subject to increase understanding of the impacts to individuals, and in the workplace generally.

Although menopause is a completely normal life process, there is still much stigma surrounding it and many people just don’t feel comfortable discussing it with others – especially at work.
