Former City Link Building Gets New Lease of Life

After nearly a year of lying empty having seen its former occupants go into administration the former City Link depot in Glenrothes is to be given a new lease of life.

The 31,952sq ft industrial unit at Bankhead Roundabout, which saw hundreds of Fife workers made redundant on Christmas Day last year, has been put on the market by property and storage specialist Fife Group in a move the firm says could reverse the hand of fate and create new jobs in the town.

Enterprise IP video technology company Exterity is expanding its Fife presence by moving its global headquarters to a fully refurbished 13,000 sq ft office and production space at St David’s Business Park in Dalgety Bay.

The move follows rising demand for Exterity’s IP video solutions across all regions and market segments in which it operates, and supports the technology firm’s plans to double its workforce over the next five years.
