Kirkcaldy Company Crowned High Growth Business of the Year 2015

A Fife entrepreneur has scooped a top business award for the growth of his Kirkcaldy-based content marketing company.

Chris Marr, who hails from Leven, landed the High Growth Business of the Year 2015 accolade at the WeDO Scotland Awards in Edinburgh after doubling the turnover of his business, the Content Marketing Academy (CMA), in the last 12 months.

Chris, who launched the CMA in 2013, also doubled his team and moved into new office premises at Fife Group’s Mitchelston Industrial Estate complex earlier this year.

Jannettas Gelateria, which has been operating from its original St Andrews site since 1908, will take part in a four-way discussion with Christopher Trotter, who is also a successful Chef, Fife Food Ambassador and Committee member of the Guild of Food Writers.  They will debate the tasty subject of food in Fife, their business and their future.

2015 OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP: FIFE BUSINESSES PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

Fife Tourism Partnership (FTP) are looking for Fife businesses who are interested in providing discounts or offers which we can in turn, provide to golf fans who will be flocking to Fife for the 2015 Open Championship in St Andrews.

The offers would be presented via a booklet handed out at the Open Championship and can contain incentives such as 10% off purchases with a specific code or "buy two cups of coffee, get one free" etc. By engaging people with such codes, these attractive offers will hopefully lead to an increase in business activity throughout Fife.
