EQ WELCOMES ANNUAL TRAINEE INTAKE

A group of seven new Chartered Accountancy trainees have taken up posts with leading accountancy firm EQ Accountants LLP.

This year’s intake, who recently gathered at EQ’s Dundee office for training, will be spread across all offices, with two trainees based in Dundee, Forfar and Glenrothes and one in Cupar.

While providing opportunities in the local area, the investment in trainees will also help support the future growth of the firm, which now employs over 100 staff and 15 Partners.

Royal film role 6th & biggest big movie in 5 years for Fife vintage firm

 Fife vintage furniture specialist Scaramanga is delighted to see 15 of its products in the new Queen Victoria film Victoria & Abdul – their sixth major movie in just five years and the largest and most diverse film order yet.

Just 14 months after the award-winning Cupar firm saw six of its vintage trunks destroyed by stampeding wildebeest in Warner Brothers’ $180m action drama The Legend Of Tarzan, two of its vintage travel trunks and a range of authentic Indian boxes, tins and leather journals will be seen from today in British film Victoria & Abdul.

Sustainable Business Week is coming to Fife

Businesses in Fife can get free support and funding to help them cut their energy, water and waste bills and save money during Fife Sustainable Business Week, 2 – 6 October, 2017.

Sustainable Business Week is open to all small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Fife and will be held at venues across the region. 

The week is run by Zero Waste Scotland’s Resource Efficient Scotland programme, with the support of Fife Council and Green Business Fife.
