Resilience stands out as the defining characteristic as the Fife Business Awards 2022 winners are revealed
The 2022 Fife Business Award winners were announced at a spectacular award ceremony at the Old Course Hotel, St Andrews on Friday, 27th May.
Four hundred people were present at the ceremony, which was the culmination of a process that began in June 2021.
Twenty-four companies were selected as finalists after the first stage of judging and the winners in each category were selected after an interview with a panel of judges.

The latest annual figures for Fife Council Economic Development and Business Gateway Fife have been revealed with some very encouraging results.
The number of new businesses starting up in the year totalled an impressive 603, which is the highest number achieved by area in Scotland! This was up by 84 on the previous year which also highlights an amazing achievement during a year where the pandemic was still having an adverse effect on business and the economy.

Dunimarle Castle is a hidden gem, located high above the historic village of Culross in Fife. Built in the 11th century, the original medieval castle is steeped in history and is alleged to be a dwelling of the Macduff’s. In 1840, a new castle was constructed alongside the remains of the original building.

GoodsForGood – the new retail outlet being run by the Adam Smith Global Foundation – is winning customers “far and wide” after just a month of trading.
The charity-supporting initiative – with a shop in Kirkcaldy’s Merchants’ Quarter – is selling end-of-season lines, bankrupt stock as well as items that may have been returns from a huge range of different manufacturers.

The Town Centre Development Unit have opened a new round of the Town Centre Building Improvement [TCBI] Grant scheme for 2022-23. Made possible by an allocation of £200,000 from the Scottish Govt Placed Based Investment Programme, this capital fund has similar criteria to last year's Building Improvement Grant.

The market town of Cupar is leading on a unique project that is launching a series of food and drink trails, helping to share information on close to 300 businesses across north-east Fife.
The project – driven by Cupar Development Trust with support from the Regional Food Fund – has been delivered by the team behind CuparNow, Scotland’s award-winning digital improvement district.
