Success at the ASB Awards for Fife Businesswomen

The Association of Scottish Businesswomen held their 2017 National Business Awards at the Grand Central Hotel Glasgow at the weekend and members of Fife Women in Business (FWB) were among the Finalists and Winners.

Lorraine Brown from Lighthouse Financial Advice was finalist in Recognition of outstanding Contribution, Karen Elwis owner of The Learning Cauldron was finalist in the Most Innovative Start Up category, Fife Women In Business were finalist as Best Affiliated Group of the Year and Jane Banks owner of LaserFlair in Upper Largo won Most Enterprising Business of the Year. LaserFlair provides laser cutting and engraving services all over the UK from their base near Leven. Jane was delighted with her award and thanked FWB for their support, networking and encouragement.

FWB President Lorraine Brown said ‘This was a well deserved award showing the quality of business in Fife being recognised across Scotland. Fife Women in Business are affiliated to the Association of Scottish Businesswomen and members have joint events with other business groups.
