Kirkcaldy based Sephra Europe Ltd and sister company CFW.co.uk Catering Equipment and Supplies are delighted to donate £5,000 to local charity, The Cottage Family Centre. Sephra and CFW are based in Denburn Road, Kirkcaldy and specialise in distributing catering equipment, ingredients and supplies such as chocolate fountains, chocolate, crepe and waffle equipment as well as being a major popcorn supplier to Asda, Morrison’s and Tesco.
David Archer, company MD recently became aware that the Cottage Centre had opened a new family support centre in Kirkcaldy’s St Clair Street. David said “I’d heard of the amazing work the Cottage Centre do and realised that we’re located in an area with many families who are perhaps utilising the much need support the new Centre offers. This Christmas is going to be an especially tough time for many therefore myself and my wife, Cathryn decided that we would love to help the new centre which in turn would help the families around us, especially as Cathryn knows someone personally who has received incredible support from the Cottage Centre”.
David continued “Sephra and CFW.co.uk have been fortunate to continue to work throughout this pandemic. Although in the first few months it was very tough with some staff on furlough we are now back to full strength, some working from home and some back in the office and warehouse and fortunately growing the business again. I’m very proud of my team and the way they have worked so hard throughout this crisis, we are one big family here and teamwork is so important. Although our American branch has been harder hit and difficult times lay ahead, we are thankful to still be in business supplying our fun and delicious treats and equipment worldwide”.
