Accountancy firm, Gillespie Inverarity & Co, is the latest tenant to move into the Fife Renewables Innovation Centre (FRIC). The new premises combined with its innovative, forward thinking approach to accountancy, has propelled the practice to a new level.
The practice has embraced an innovative approach, offering its clients more than accounting and tax advice. Recognising that clients often need assistance beyond standard services, Gillespie’s is using its expertise to help businesses plan and develop whilst also offering real-time financial analysis, to aid financial planning. It is also discarding its time-based fee system and is now agreeing upfront fees with clients.
This fresh approach is shaking up the practice, which employs 20 people in Fife, and a further 20 staff between its London and Blairgowrie offices.
Alastair McBean, Practice Manager of Gillespie’s Fife office, commented: “Our move to the Fife Renewables Innovation Centre coincided with the decision to offer a new approach. This has been 12 months in the making, and the response we’ve had from clients has been positive. We’re very much focused on the future.”
