Fife council spends £22million every year on transport, to help people travel around Fife - but they'd like you to help them explore whether they could do anything differently to meet people’s needs and get the best possible value from limited budgets. This will be a year long process and the subsidised bus services, and concessionary travel elements of this may be of particular interest to employers.Fife Council are launching a consultation on passenger transport services but with a difference. 

These are vital services which can affect both employees and employers alike which is why Fife Council are encourageing you to help them explore whether they could do anything differently to meet people’s needs and get the best possible value from limited budgets. This is more than consultation in that Fife Council are trying a new way to involve people in designing the future of council services. Through a series of conversations between now and September 2020 they want to discuss:
  1. what’s already working well
  2. what opportunities and constraints are out there
  3. what options are feasible for the future and which options people prefer
