Growth Forecasted for McDonald Water Storage

Wednesday 22 May 2019

It’s an exciting time of growth for newly rebranded business McDonald Water Storage.

Having enjoyed a long period of growth here in Scotland over the last 70 years, it is building its profile in other regions, particularly South of the Border.

New senior staff appointments in its English office have strengthened its sales team enormously, bringing about a new dimension to the business.

The fresh new outlook of these new recruits has been instrumental, and the water storage business is starting to see dividends.

Jamie Stewart, Managing Director of McDonald Water Storage, said: “We expect the English market to account for over 50 per cent of the business turnover within the next two years, representing a 50 per cent growth in turnover for the area. To support this continued growth, we are planning further investment in our manufacturing facility here in Glenrothes.”

McDonald Water Storage has also secured a few good contracts in Scotland for volume production runs, which have included refurbishment contracts for sheltered housing schemes and property developments where its products have proved to be an effective solution.
