Fife company Planys Cloud has been shortlisted for the 2016 HSBC Scottish Export Awards. The Awards, which are run in association with Scottish Enterprise, will be held at the Glasgow Hilton on 23rd of March.
The Dunfermline-based technology company exports Applications for Web and Mobile to the oil and gas sector in the United States and Singapore.
Paul Barclay, Chief Technology Officer said: “We are delighted to be a finalist in these prestigious awards. It’s great that a Fife business that produces cutting-edge technology is being recognized for making a contribution to Scottish exports”.
Neil Francis, international operations director at Scottish Enterprise, said: “It’s wonderful to see such high quality companies highlighted by these awards. The calibre of entries has been outstanding, and is both a celebration and demonstration of the internationally competitive services and products that Scotland has to offer the world”.
Planys Cloud also works for UK Clients as well as developing its own products. The Scottish company is the developer and co-owner, with Carr Gomm, of ClickGo, a Google Impact Challenge (2014) Award winning platform for Self-Directed-Support.
