Crossgates gas specialist crowned Best Heating Engineer in Fife

A Fife heating specialist has scooped a national award for his gas services expertise.

Pedro Tang, who runs Crossgates Gas & Maintenance, has been crowned Best Heating Engineer in Fife in the 2016 Technology Innovator Awards organised by CV (Corporate Vision) Magazine.

It’s the latest in a string of awards for Pedro and his Crossgates-based team, which romped home from last year’s National Energy Efficiency & Retrofit Awards (Scotland) with a trilogy of honours for their ethical and green credentials.

The Fife firm, which offers a range of green gas services, such as boiler repairs, and eco-friendly boiler installation and central heating, also won the Scottish award for Boiler and Renewables Installer of the Year in the Green Deal and Eco Awards in 2015 shortly after becoming a Green Deal installer.

Pedro, who founded Crossgates Gas nearly 15 years ago, said: “It’s a real honour to win this award. We are committed to helping homeowners and businesses save money by becoming more energy efficient so it’s great to be recognised in this way.”
