COOPER SOFTWARE CHOSEN TO IMPLEMENT IFS APPLICATIONS™ 10 FOR CREO MEDICAL

Thursday 18 October 2018

New release of IFS Applications will support the future growth of Creo Medical as it moves towards commercialisation.  ERP systems specialist and IFS Partner, Cooper Software, has been chosen by Creo Medical, a medical device company focused on the emerging field of surgical endoscopy, to implement the newly released global ERP solution, IFS Applications 10. Founded in 2003 by Professor Chris Hancock, Creo Medical targets the treatment of cancers through use of high-frequency microwave energy and dynamic matching techniques. Creo Medical has developed CROMA, an electrosurgical platform that can deliver microwave and bipolar radiofrequency through a single accessory port. This technology makes it possible to conduct endoscopic surgery by enabling miniature endoscopic devices to cut, coagulate and ablate with precision. The selection of Cooper Software to implement IFS Applications 10 comes after Creo Medical conducted a thorough procurement process to identify a modern, user-friendly ERP solution that will meet the current and future needs of the business as it moves towards commercialisation. IFS Applications 10 is the perfect fit for Creo Medical as it will provide the company with the agility and flexibility required to adapt and scale in order to stay ahead in a rapidly developing market. IFS Applications 10 also allows Creo Medical to satisfy all the demands of the highly regulated medical devices industry. The implementation will be carried out using a staged approach with the first phase currently underway. Key functionality covered will include, Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, Human Resources, CRM; Document Management, and Project Management. The layered and open architecture of IFS will ensure that the solution will also have the capability to integrate with Creo Medical’s other systems to deliver a best-in-class solution.  The project is expected to be completed by September 2019. Following this, Cooper Software will provide on-going post-implementation support via their 24/7 Managed Service Desk.  Andrew Peacock, Director of Business Services for Creo Medical, commented: “We evaluated a number of solutions before agreeing that IFS Applications 10 presented the best fit for the company. It is vital that we have a modern, scalable solution that is able to meet the current and future needs of our expanding business and the opportunities this will present. The solution, coupled with Cooper Software’s knowledge and expertise in delivering IFS implementations, gives us confidence that we are well equipped for the future.” Frank Cooper, Executive Chairman of Cooper Software noted: “We are delighted to have been selected by Creo Medical to implement IFS Applications 10. They are an exciting company and we look forward to helping them future-proof their business and enable rapid growth globally. This project is the second IFS Applications 10 implementation project we have won in a matter of months and shows that the Cooper Software delivery team is creating an exciting solution for our customers.”
