Businesses Set to Represent Fife at Offshore Europe 2019

Fife Council’s Economic Development team is set to take Fife to the global stage once again with a stand at SPE Offshore Europe 2019 – one of the world's largest technical conference and exhibitions for the offshore E&P (Exploration & Production) industry.  Over 36,000 attendees from over 100 countries attend this prestigious event. The exhibition will showcase the latest technology, services and expertise and sees the complete supply chain of companies participating including operators, drilling contractors and oilfield service companies. Cllr Altany Craik, Convener of the Economy, Tourism, Strategic Planning & Transportation Committee, explained: “A Fife stand has been organised for the Offshore Europe Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference for a number of years now in response to demand from local companies that trade in the energy sector. "Fife Council's Invest in Fife team will also be in attendance, showcasing the key development sites and Fife’s successful world leading projects – Energy Park Fife and Gateway Rosyth. “The council’s Economic Development team has a fantastic track record in supporting the development of Fife businesses to help grow a vibrant local economy. Eight businesses will be joining us this year to showcase to thousands of visitors from around the world as well as demonstrate our commitment to making Fife the best place to do business. “Over the last 20 years Fife businesses have been showcasing their products and services at Offshore Europe as part of a Fife Group stand. This has generated a number of business opportunities which have allowed growth and development of businesses within Fife.” Representing Fife on the Invest in Fife stand 2L20 at this year’s event, which runs  3 - 6 September at the brand-new P&J Live in Aberdeen, will be:
