Business Gateway Fife's Figures Show Greater Support For Growing Fife Businesses

Business Gateway Fife has released its Key Achievement Figures for 2015/16 which demonstrate that more established and growing businesses are being supported than ever before.

Rising to the challenge, Business Gateway Fife are proud to be supporting and developing businesses which ultimately helps to safeguard and create local jobs.

There has been a reduction in start-up businesses on a national level, reflecting a more stable and buoyant economy -  with more people in employment, there is simply less impetus for people to take the leap and start a new business.

This shift, together with a finite budget allocation, has therefore seen Business Gateway Fife focusing more budget and resources supporting growing businesses in Fife and generated a positive impact on the local economy.

The fully funded workshops, of which there are over 200, have been an area of focus in which Business Gateway Fife have improved the quality of the events it offers. This has resulted in even greater demand and a 92% customer satisfaction rate.
