Are you ready for Fife Business Week?

FIFE Business Week 2017 is almost here!  Running from 6th to 10th November, the week is packed full of events aimed at inspiring and supporting Fife’s business community. 

 

There’s been quite a demand for some of the events but there are still opportunities to book into some seminars and workshops.

 

How to Conduct an Effective Disciplinary Hearing to be held on 8th November at Rosyth Business Centre.  This workshop will equip line managers with the skills to manage any disciplinary and grievance hearings that may come in your business.  The HR Booth work with dozens of businesses across the UK, helping them manage their people effectively. This workshop will give managers the confidence to deal with these issues, helping drive improvements in your business.

 

Turn Your Pain Points into Profit is a great workshop running at the Enterprise Hub in Glenrothes on 9th November.  This is aimed at Manufacturing businesses.  Change is constant but needn’t be costly. Come along and challenge the experts at Upturn Consulting and learn how to maximise profit through change.

 

Other workshops range from Social Media Strategy and Building Capacity for Growth to Attracting International Customers and a Masterclass in Business Funding.

 

During Fife Business Week, a Fife Council Meet the Buyer event will also be scheduled to connect businesses with buyers and decision makers to discuss how to access business with public sector agencies and prime private sector contractors, to highlight upcoming opportunities.

 

This year also incorporates a Finance Week, where a number of school-based events will be happening. the week of events is only the catalyst for the development of a long term progressive finance programme which will be embedded into the school curriculum.

 

The theme for this year’s programme of events is Inspiring and Supporting Fife’s Businesses, aligned to Fife Economic Partnership’s objectives. The week of action will focus on key issues that are impacting on Fife entrepreneurs, business start-ups and employers with fresh insights into workforce development, finance and strategy and digital connectivity.

 

Hosted by Fife Council’s Economic Development Team and Business Gateway team, Fife Business Week is designed to support businesses to succeed and flourish whilst making Fife the best place to do business.
