Meet The Buyer Is Back For Fife Business Week 2022!

Don’t miss Fife Business Week’s flagship event, Meet the Buyer, taking place on Thursday, 10th November from 9.00am until 12.30pm at Carnegie Conference Centre, Halbeath, Dunfermline.
The thirteenth annual Meet the Buyer event aims to help local businesses find out what contract opportunities are available across a wide range of sectors.  Suppliers will also find out any requirements needed to be eligible to bid on a contract. This year, Fife Council’s Procurement Team will run a “Talking Tenders” session to provide an insight into working with the local authority.
Councillor Altany Craik, Spokesperson for Fife Council’s Finance, Economy and Strategic Planning commented: “Meet the Buyer offers businesses access to the major developers, supplier framework and Fife Council procurement.  As always, a programme of presentations will be delivered throughout the event, providing an overview of existing and upcoming public, private contract and framework opportunities. Businesses will also hear about Dynamic Purchasing Systems, developing management systems and top tendering tips to identify opportunities and increase their success rates.”
He added: “In a time of severe economic challenges, I would urge all businesses involved in the supply chain, large and small, to participate. This is an excellent opportunity for businesses to network with the key people who can advise and help them make the best of future opportunities across a wide range of sectors.”
Fife Business Week 2022 features more than 30 exciting events featuring a wide range of topics from Finance, HR, Innovation in Manufacturing and Digital Skills to Industry Expert advice delivered by experts in both the private and public sectors.
