Customs Declaration Training

A one day, practical course focused on understanding the process and getting it right first time. The course is ideal for up-skilling staff, to make sure they have the required skills to deliver the smooth movement of goods and submit accurate information to HMRC.
Course Content:
Talk through the background to customs declarations, when and why they are needed
Take the participants through each field of the Customs declaration - explain what it refers to, where to get the information to populate
Give the participants 4 worked examples whereby they attempt one and then they are talked through the correct solution
Identify common mistakes
If you export to NI then we can certainly touch on the requirements under the NI protocol
Who should attend
Typically staff within logistics departments or working for hauliers and freight forwarders i.e. those dealing with documentation for goods movement.
Duration
The course is on 18th March 2021. Start time 10:00AM – End 4:00PM with an 1 hour for lunch
Cost
£150+ VAT for members and £190+VAT for non-members. Full payment required when booking made.
Booking Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received no later than 5 working days prior to the event/programme start to qualify for a refund. Prices Exclude VAT
If paying online, VAT at 20% will be added before the payment is taken. Fees received will be acknowledged with a VAT receipt.
This course will be delivered by Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce with trainers who have a working knowledge of customs, International trade and logistics.
