Fife College celebrates the success of their young Foundation Apprentice Engineers

The Foundation Apprenticeship programme take a young person through early elements of the Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering whilst they are still at school.  In the first year of this programme, around 30 young people completed their first year and will return to complete year 2, which they hope to culminate with a 10 day placement in industry.

Primary Engineer brings together teachers and engineers to engage primary and secondary pupils with engineering via curriculum mapped projects.  The aim is that engineers will provide the context for the projects and enable pupils and teachers to understand more about the diversity and excitement of engineering.
