Time Is Running Out to Get Your Broadband Voucher

The Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme is a UK Government programme that provides up to £3,000 in grant funding for small and medium sized enterprises to improve their broadband.  The scheme is open to any business or charity in Fife with less than 250 employees and less than £50 million annual turnover.

Smith Anderson Bags a New Home!

On Saturday 27th June 2015, Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant officially opened the new Smith Anderson Paper Bag Manufacturing Facility in Kirkcaldy.  The company dedicated this special day to local Cancer Care charity Maggie’s Fife, to whom they have donated over £15,000 to in the last two years.  Smith Anderson staff have also helped Maggie’s raise thousands more through initiatives like the Big Give, by attending events and participating in the Annual Twilight Walk.

Queensway Park Gets Green Light for Data Centre in Fife

Detailed consent has been granted for the country’s largest green data centre in Fife Scotland.

Plans are now in place for the first of two cloud hosting facilities at Queensway Park in Glenrothes. The first green data centre will cover an area of over 90,000 sq ft and is hoped to be complete towards the end of 2016. Once completed, Queensway Park will be the largest data centre campus in Scotland with a development value approaching £100 million.
