Fife Council’s Economic Development team are seeking notes of interest from Fife Food and Drink producers in attending the Royal Highland Show 2023, as part of a Fife Group Stand.
The Royal Highland Show is the flagship event of Scottish Charity the Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS). The 4-day event takes place between 22nd June to 25th June and forms the pinnacle of the Scottish agricultural calendar, involving over 1,000 trade exhibitors, as well as 2,200 livestock competitors and 6,500 animals.

Mint Ventures is a Scottish-based women-led angel investment group on a mission to make angel investing more accessible to women by educating both women and men from all business backgrounds how they can support more women to get involved.
Angel investing is an important element of the funding ecosystem to support early-stage companies to grow and is particularly important during a recession. Despite women holding 40% of the Scotland’s wealth, only 12% of business angels in Scotland are women.

Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport and Forth Green Freeport have been jointly selected by the Scottish and UK governments to become Scotland’s first Green Freeports.
Following a rigorous assessment and selection process, the two winning bids will be supported by up to £52 million in start-up funding and will benefit from tax reliefs and other incentives through a combination of devolved and reserved powers.

Following today’s (13 January) green freeport shortlisting by the Scottish and UK Governments, the private-public bid consortium behind the transformational bid for a Forth Green Freeport (FGF) reacted to the positive news.
