The first meeting of 2013 will take place at The Bay Hotel, Burntisland on Wednesday 23rd January where we will welcome Nora Senior as our guest speaker.

Nora is Executive Chair UK Regions and Ireland of global public relations and public affairs consultancy, Weber Shandwick.  She has over 22 years experience of agency, specialising in corporate, public sector and government communications, advising both large organisations as well as start-up companies, across a wide range of sectors, including property/construction, finance, healthcare, technology and FMCG.

She has been recognised by a number of industry awards including Scottish Businesswoman of the Year (2003); a global ‘Stevie' award for Best Woman in Business in Europe, Middle East and Asia; a Scottish Woman of Achievement Award and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations for outstanding contribution to the PR industry in Scotland.

From February 2013, Nora will take on the challenging role of Chair of Scottish Chambers of Commerce (SCC) and will be leading the lobbying work on behalf of businesses of all shapes and sizes across Scotland for SCC.

She is a non-executive Board member of the National Trust for Scotland and Vice President of the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC), a Regional Adviser to the London Stock Exchange and Chair of the Women in Business Group (Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce).
