Class 1:  About Business Gateway Fife

Who we are, where to find us, how to contact us and the governance of Business Gateway Fife.

Class 2: How we deliver our functions and services

Information brochures are freely available on request for our Investment Funds, Prince's Trust Youth Business Scotland and Business Gateway Services.

Class 3: How we take decisions and what we decide

All decisions are taken by the Board of Directors at periodic Board Meetings. The agenda and minutes of these Board Meetings are held by the Company Secretary and are available on request. Personal or confidential information about employees and clients will not be made available and may be redacted from any FOISA request.

Class 4: What we spend and how we spend it

Business Gateway Fife is a self sustaining business with its own finances; it is not a local authority department. It has no public money to spend. Business Gateway Fife has cash flow management policies, and service contracts. All of these are available to see upon request.

Class 5: How we manage human, physical and information resources

Our human resources are managed through the policies contained in our Employee Handbook. A copy of this is made available to all employees and it is available upon request.

Business Gateway Fife physical resources are restricted to office furniture and equipment.

Our information resources are held and delivered by the Business Gateway National Enquiry Service – see http://www.bgateway.com Business Gateway Fife levy no charges for information accessed.

Class 6: How we procure goods and services from external providers

Business Gateway Fife maintains procurement practices which are consistent with the EU directives on public procurement and with the Scottish Government policy on sub-threshold procurement.

Class 7: How we are performing

 

Business Gateway Fife publishes Annual Accounts which are available at Companies House. Copies are available from  Business Gateway Fife by request.

Operational progress is reported to the Planning, Enterprise and Protective Services of Fife Council and can be found in the agenda of the Environment, Enterprise & Transport committee of Fife Council - http://www.fifedirect.org.uk/news/index.cfm?fuseaction=committee.list
