With unsecured, interest free* Scottish Government loans of up to £100k your business will be helped to identify the measures that will save you the most! The range of carbon reducing measures you can now afford are extensive. You could install commercial ovens, blast chillers, heating and air conditioning equipment, a new lighting system, heating controls, a biomass boiler, building insulation or replace refrigeration / freezer units and so much more.

Other sources of funding
The SME Loan Scheme be used in tandem with the Carbon Trust Green Business Fund which can provide up to 15% (to a maximum £10,000) capital contribution for energy saving equipment.***
Grant funding is also available for waste prevention projects in the food and drink and construction sectors, extending to commercial and industrial waste. SMEs interested in the Waste Prevention Implementation Fund can access the guidance form and outline proposal forms online. Deadline for outline proposal is 29 November 2016.
*5% interest rate for renewable technologies to help organisations still claim the renewable heat incentive.
